Main Market Hall

The Main Market Hall of the Community Market is divisible into 2 spaces, each with its own set of washrooms. One larger space contains more permanent fixtures (such as the Market Café and vendor booths) while the smaller space is more flexible. Can be rented with or without access to the kitchen.

Discounts or Additional Fees

1 hour free offered when no other booking immediately after.

Cleaning fees applied if users leave the space in a messy condition.

Additional hours at $50/hr for half space or $95/hr for the whole facility.

Discounts for multiple rentals may be available.

Types of Use

Large dinners, performances, rehearsals, art production, conferences, and more. Talk to our staff about your idea! Food-focused events get priority, as do ones focused on community-building.

  • What is the capacity of these spaces?

    Capacity depends on the layout – please talk with our staff for capacity details.

  • Can I bring outside food in?

    For large events, we prefer that you work with one of our Market Vendors to provide food.

  • What about alcohol?

    We have a special events license – please speak to our staff about requirements for service.

  • Do you have A/V equipment on site?

    Not presently (we will soon) – for now, you can rent from your chosen vendor.
