As a self taught artisan my inspiration comes from just about everything. I make my pieces from brass and copper sheet metal, wire, pennies, bullets, wood, birch bark, resin, clay, glass, paper and stone, along with many other repurposed materials including old cast off jewelry as recycling has always been a big part of my life and everything has potential.
I make a lot of my own tools and findings and use many techniques including some ancient jewelry making techniques such as painting with fire, chasing and repousse. My many interests and thirst for knowledge will always guarantee a wide variety of styles and themes.
My themed jewelry covers every holiday and my NFLD inspired line is great for loved ones that have moved away and of course tourists.
Don’t wear jewelry? No worries, I also make key chains and zipper pulls. I even have a line of “train track” pennies that are elongated like the ones we used put on the tracks as children for the train to flatten. My masculine and youth lines are also growing so I can make something for everyone.
